1. Uzlah dan iktikaf di masjid serta puasa nafil. (Utk tujuan ini cuti amat diperlukan)
2. Memendekkan angan-angan, mengingati mati
3. Membaca buku2 para ahli ibadah dan ahli zuhud spt al-Ihya’, Sifat Safwah, Hilyat al-Awliya’, Minhaj al-‘Abidin, Sayd al-Khatir
4. Bersolat jamaah di masjid (lelaki dan perempuan)
5. Menziarahi kubur orang2 salih

6. Qiyamullayl dan qaylulah
